#ManeCrushMonday w/ Jordan
Hey loves! I'm back with a new #ManeCrushMonday...enjoy!
Mane Style: How long have you been natural?
Jordan: I have been natural since I was 15, which makes 5 years in total.
MS: What are your go-to hairstyles?
J: I do a little bit of everything when it comes to styling my hair, so I don’t really have a go-to hairstyle.
MS: Do you have any holy-grail hair products?
J: Currently, I am still on the search for a product that gets my hair exactly how I want it especially when it comes to defining my natural curls.
MS: Describe your personal style?
J: I believe that my personal style is very diverse depending on what mood I feel each day. One day it could be a graphic tee, a bomber jacket, ripped jeans, and sneakers or the next day it could be a dress, a blazer and some nice boots, it just all depends on the weather for that day and also how I feel like dressing.
MS: What clothing store(s) could we find you in, mostly?
J: Currently, I have become more interested and fond of online shopping, but if you were to catch me shopping in a store it would definitely be Forever 21, H&M, or even Marshall’s or TJ Maxx.
MS: If you couldn’t live without one thing in your closet what would it be?
J: One thing I probably couldn’t live without in my closet is hats because if I am in a rush or don’t have time to put a cute outfit together I can just throw on a hat and put on some sweats, jeans, on sneakers with it.
MS: Does your outfit for the day reflect how you wear your hair? Or vice versa?
J: I believe my hair plays a huge role in reflecting on what outfit I would wear for the day because if my hair isn’t done, then I am most definitely not obligated to put on a nice outfit.
MS: What inspired you to start your YouTube channel ThePurposePaige?
J: The main thing that inspired me to start my YouTube channel was God. I felt as though He wanted me to be transparent with others in my generation with my life and finding a way to put out content that so that people could identify or relate to me. I would have a chance to talk about real life problems while also giving godly advice and encouragement to anyone who may have gone through the same thing as me.
MS: If you could share one of piece of advice with readers, whether it be about style or hair, what would it be?
J: One piece of advice I want to share with any reader about style or hair would be to always be yourself when it comes to your style. Everyone is unique in their own way, so what may not be appealing or attractive to one person doesn’t matter if you find it appealing or attractive to yourself. Another thing is just to have fun and experiment with different styles and colors that may take you out of your comfort zone. Life is too short to have a boring wardrobe and hair.
Mane Style: How can we connect with you? (Social media pages, blogs, etc.)
