#ManeCrushMonday w/ Danielle
Happy Monday Beauties! Today I am featuring the fabulous Danielle from the blog www.dani-dk.com!
Here's a snippet into Danielle's life:
"Hi guys I’m Danielle Jackson and I’m lifestyle blogger and image consultant. I’m also a contributor for Curls Understood. I’ve been blogging for several years now and through my blog www.dani-dk.com I look to encourage women to feel empowered through beauty and fashion."
Mane Style: How long have you been natural?
Danielle: I’ve been natural for 6 years this June.
MS: What are your go-to hairstyles?
D: Typically I do a twist out and rock it till the wheels fall off and start up again 2 weeks later
MS: Do you have any holy-grail hair products?
D: My favorites are As I Am leave-in condition. Tresseme Naturale Conditioner and Trader Joes Spa Shampoo.
MS: Describe your personal style?
D: My personal style is vibrant and modern. It’s evolved over time to be a bit more streamline but still is consistent with the incorporation of prints and statement pieces.
MS: What clothing store(s) could we find you in, mostly?
D: Zara, Cos and Intermix
MS: If you couldn’t live without one thing in your closet what would it be?
D: My Manolo Blahnik white satin swan embellished pumps – I bought them for my wedding but I’m thinking of dying them so I can continue to wear them.
MS: Does your outfit for the day reflect how you wear your hair? Or vice versa?
D: Yes it does! Hair and fashion go hand in hand so there’s no way to choose an outfit and not have your hairstyle accent it.
MS: Just for fun, who are your top three #WCW or just women who inspire you?
D: Tracee Ellis Ross, Solange and Rihanna for Red Carpet
MS: If you could share one piece of advice with readers, whether it be about style or hair, what would it be?
D: Always look to express you and only you. Trends come and go and if you try them there’s always that should always stand out as being you. Never change that because that’s what will make you stand out.
Mane Style: How can we connect with you? (Social media pages, blogs, etc.)
